This week I basically concentrated on helping Devon get his Wheel Bearing replaced on his Toyota Corolla. With a bit of trial and error, we got it done. Thank god I'm not in the flat rate buisness because I would probably be fire after that job lol. I learned a very cool trick while doing a Wheel Bearing Servive and that is, how to remove a Bearing Race by placing a weld bead around the diameter of the Race. I also learned a neat trick to do if you are performing a Wheel Alignment. Place a piece of tape on the center of both the front tires with a dot in the center of the tape. Take a measurement of the front of the tire from dot to dot, then back the car up and do the same with the back of the front tires, and that will tell you your toe in or toe out. I am yet to perform a Laser Alignment so I will concentrate on that this week.
